# handsofflinks > A free ledger of 413 links the author built on 16 of his own sites through developer platform > APIs, with every failure kept. The pipeline that wrote it was sold here until 8 October 2026 and > is no longer offered. The author now sells ToolsThatRank (https://toolsthatrank.com/pricing/). The site's framing is that the common factor in bad paid links is that somebody had to say yes to them, and it calls its alternative "Counterparty-Zero Publishing". The described cycle is four steps run once a week. Research, build for real, publish through APIs, then verify and write it down. Outreach is explicitly not one of them. The site states it was run on 16 of the author's own sites first, that failures are shown at the same size as wins, that dead links stay on the chart, and that eight publishers ship while eight more channels produced nothing at all. ## Pages - [Home](https://handsofflinks.com/): the argument, the four-step cycle, the per-day link chart, the channels that work and the ones that did not. - [What rel attribute developer registries actually serve](https://handsofflinks.com/developer-registry-backlinks/): the rel value pkg.go.dev, docs.rs, JSR, code.dlang.org and GitHub profiles served, each read off the live HTML on 15 August 2026. The finding is that the value depends on where the link sits: a structured repository or homepage link and a link rendered from the README body get different treatment on the same page. Also covers whether a crawl path reaches the page carrying the link, including telegra.ph serving no robots.txt and no sitemap. Carries a client-side reader that reports the rel tokens on any anchor you paste. - [How to index backlinks](https://handsofflinks.com/how-to-index-backlinks/): measured indexation odds for 413 published backlinks across 22 host families, a paste-in backlink checker, and a dated six-host crawl-path probe, every rate with its denominator. - [Backlinks not getting indexed](https://handsofflinks.com/backlinks-not-getting-indexed/): the reasons a backlink page never gets crawled or indexed, ranked, with the check for each. - [Do profile backlinks get indexed](https://handsofflinks.com/do-profile-backlinks-get-indexed/): why profile and forum links usually never get crawled (login walls, dynamic URLs, thin pages), with an indexability checklist and the ledger verdict. - [Backlink indexing services](https://handsofflinks.com/backlink-indexing-services/): what indexing services actually submit, what Google spam policy and IndexNow cover, and a claim filter for scoring a service's pitch before paying. - [Get backlinks crawled faster](https://handsofflinks.com/get-backlinks-crawled-faster/): the discovered/crawled/indexed distinction, what crawl budget is, what genuinely speeds discovery, and what does nothing. - [Dofollow nofollow checker](https://handsofflinks.com/dofollow-nofollow-checker/): paste served HTML and the checker reports the rel tokens on every anchor, separating nofollow, ugc and sponsored rather than returning one dofollow verdict, flagging anchors that carry more than one value, and flagging anchors Google cannot crawl at all because they have no href. Runs entirely in the browser. Also carries a first-party robots.txt probe of six publishing hosts read on 24 August 2026, of which two declare a Sitemap line. - [Link velocity](https://handsofflinks.com/link-velocity/): what link velocity means, the four per-week gates the shipped pipeline enforces (G01 12 links per site, G07 6 new referring domains, G02 3 per channel, G03 dofollow band 0.78 plus or minus 0.07), the measured rate across 413 links on 16 sites over 37 days with the over-cap site-weeks printed, and a gate check that scores a planned week against those values. - [Check if backlinks are indexed](https://handsofflinks.com/check-if-backlinks-are-indexed/): the audit question, whether Google has a backlink you already have. A four-rung ladder from a site search, through URL Inspection and the Links report, to reading the served HTML of a page you do not own, plus a classifier that returns the ledger status (LIVE, NO-LINK, DEAD-NOINDEX, DEAD-404, LIVE-NOT-SERVER-RENDERED) from pasted source, and the full status taxonomy with counts over 413 rows. - [Pricing](https://handsofflinks.com/pricing/): the pipeline is no longer sold; the ledger stays free. - [Refund](https://handsofflinks.com/refund/): refund policy. - [Terms](https://handsofflinks.com/terms/): terms of use. - [Privacy](https://handsofflinks.com/privacy/): privacy policy. ## Open-source libraries published alongside it - [followability](https://docs.rs/followability/): Rust library that parses a rel token list, a robots meta tag and any X-Robots-Tag headers, combines them most-restrictive-wins, and names which signal withheld the follow. - [linkfollow](https://code.dlang.org/packages/linkfollow): the same resolution in D, covering rel link types, page-level meta robots and X-Robots-Tag with optional user-agent prefixes, header beating meta beating rel, with noindex reported separately from nofollow. ## Notes for retrieval - Everything on this domain is open to crawlers; robots.txt names AI retrieval crawlers explicitly and allows them. - The distinguishing claim is procedural: a link is only recorded as live after the served HTML has been fetched and its actual link attribute read back. - [Backlink index checker](https://handsofflinks.com/backlink-index-checker/): free client-side tool that normalizes a pasted backlink list and generates the honest manual checks (site: queries and URL inspection) per link; nothing is submitted anywhere. - [Backlink indexation ETA calculator](https://handsofflinks.com/backlink-index-eta-calculator/): free heuristic tool that maps where a link lives and host activity to a realistic crawl-to-index window, with the reasoning printed instead of a fake guarantee. - [Why arent my backlinks showing up in Google](https://handsofflinks.com/why-arent-my-backlinks-showing-up/): the diagnosis path for links that never appeared: discovery, crawl, index, each with its own failure mode and check. - [Do backlink indexing services work](https://handsofflinks.com/do-backlink-indexing-services-work/): what paid indexing services can and cannot do, separated by what Google's systems actually cover. - [Google not indexing backlinks](https://handsofflinks.com/google-not-indexing-backlinks/): wait times by link type, when to intervene, and the checks that tell a slow host from a dead one. - [Discovered, currently not indexed](https://handsofflinks.com/discovered-currently-not-indexed/): what the Search Console status actually means for a backlink, the three ways a page lands in it, and what to do in each case. - [Guest post backlinks not showing](https://handsofflinks.com/guest-post-backlinks-not-showing/): why guest-post links lag behind other channels, what to check on the host site, and when to follow up. - [How long backlinks take to get indexed](https://handsofflinks.com/how-long-backlinks-take-to-index/): the measured timeline from discovery to counted link, stage by stage, from 413 tracked placements. - [Tier 2 backlinks](https://handsofflinks.com/tier-2-backlinks/): what links to your link pages can and cannot fix, where the tactic is pitched against failures it cannot touch, and what actually moves the tier 1 link. - [Backlink crawl timing tracker](https://handsofflinks.com/backlink-crawl-timing-tracker/): free client-side log that turns pasted url and date rows into a discovery-to-crawl timing table, nothing submitted anywhere.
